7 shows to try out and watch this fall 2015
It's September! The
leaves are changing, the temperature is dropping, and so many brand new TV
shows are about to premiere on TV! But sadly thanks to school and my other
after school activities, I won't have enough time to watch them all. Since most
of you are also starting school and will be busy, I thought I'd help you out by
picking out a few MUST watch shows this fall.
Okay so lets get
started!
Show #1: Scream
Queens
This show is my number
one priority this fall.
It airs on Tuesday,
Sept. 22 at 8 pm on Fox and with a special 2 hour premiere!! OMG I can't even
wait.
You'll be seeing Jamie
Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Ariana Grande, Nick
Jonas, Keke Palmer and Abigail Breslin!
here's the Official Trailer! https://youtu.be/-FtenR69qmk
Show #2: Blindspot
I'll be trying out the
show Blindspot this fall mainly because all my friends are super excited about
it and it seems intresting enough lol.
It airs on Monday,
Sept. 21 at 10 pm on NBC
You'll be seeing
Jaimie Alexander as the endearing and electrifying Jane Doe, the tatted-up
heroine of the series, while Sullivan Stapleton plays FBI detective Kurt
Weller, a cop who's actually worth rooting for.
Ok imagine if you woke
up and your entire memory was stripped of personal details? You know what food
is, but you have no idea what your favorite meal is. You know multiple
languages and Navy Seal-level combat skills, but you have no recollection of
ever learning them. On top if all that, imagine if your entire body was covered
with intricate and incredibly detailed tattoos mapping a life you don’t
remember living. We just described an incredibly small facet of NBC's Blindspot,
and trust us when we tell you that the rest makes up one of the most incredibly
captivating dramas of the season.
Show #3: Quantico
This show looks so interesting from the
trailer so I'll be trying this one out too. Kind of excited.
It airs on on September 27 at 10 pm on ABC
Priyanka Chopra will be starring in the show as Alex
Parrish the main character
The series follows a group of young FBI recruits, all
with specific reasons for joining as flashbacks will detail their previous
lives, battling their way through training at the training academy in Quantico,
Virginia. However, the series will reveal in a flash forward twist that one of
the recruits, once they graduate from the academy, will be suspected of
masterminding the biggest terror attack on New York City since the September 11
attacks in 2001.
Show #4: Supergirl
Ok, so I watch the flash and arrow and so when they
announced that their would be another superhero in town I was beyond
excited.
It airs Monday October 26 at 8pm on CBS
Twenty-four-year-old Kara Zor-El, who was taken in by
the Danvers family when she was 13 after being sent away from Krypton, must
learn to embrace her powers after previously hiding them. The Danvers
family teaches Kara to be careful with her powers, until she has to reveal them
during an unexpected disaster, setting her on her journey of heroism.
Show #5: Heroes Reborn
It airs Thursday September 4 at 8pm NBC
People are telling me this is going to be somewhat
like the X men movies.
According to the
official synopsis, the miniseries will "reconnect with the basic elements
of the show's first season" in which ordinary people discover that they
have special abilities. The show will be preceded by a new digital series that
introduces the new characters and story lines, around which Heroes Reborn is
centered.
According to the
official website, the series takes place one year after a terrorist attack in
Odessa, Texas. The attack destroyed the city and the government blamed those
with extraordinary abilities. Consequently they must live in hiding or flee
from those with bad intentions. Two such vigilantes, Luke and Joanne, lost
someone important in the event and seek revenge.
Noah Bennet, aka
HRG is also in hiding, but is found by the conspiracy theorist Quentin
Frady who tries to show him the truth behind the Odessa tragedy. While
they’re in hiding, some of them are discovering their newfound skills. Malina
is a brave and courageous girl, who was brought up much overprotected, but she
finds out she is destined for greatness. Erica is the head of the highly successful
tech conglomerate called Renautas, and she has her own dark goals. Awkward teen
Tommy tries to live a normal life and just has eyes for his dream girl,
Emily, but he discovers a new terrifying ability that makes his will almost
impossible. Meanwhile in Tokyo, Miko, a unique and quiet girl is looking for
her missing father, but she hides an extraordinary secret that can be dangerous
to her. Somewhere, a singular type of hero is emerging through Carlos, a former
soldier.
As long as new Heroes
are emerging, some heroes of the past such as Hiro Nakamura, Matt Parkman,
Mohinder Suresh, The Haitian, Angela Petrelli , and Micah Sanders, among
others, will cross paths with them. And, together, they will have their
ultimate quest: save the world and mankind.
Show #6: Wicked City
It airs on Tuesday
October 27 at 10 pm on ABC
Taking place on the
Sunset Strip in the 1980s, a young, handsome man (played by Gossip Girl’s Ed
Westick) lures women into his car and murders them senselessly, dedicating a
song to each of his victims on a local radio station. The show will follow a
different case each season.
Show #7: Limitless
It airs Tuesday
September 22 at 10 pm CBS
Based on the film, Limitless,
starring Bradley Cooper,
the TV show version is in the same vain, but with elements of another CBS
drama, Scorpion. It follows Brian Finch (played by Jake
McDorman) who takes the brain-enhancing mystery drug NZT and is coerced by the
FBI to help them solve complex cases. With regular cameos by Cooper, you won’t
want to miss it.
So if you're looking for me in the fall I'll probably
be watching one of these shows
xoxo jessica
